Artist: Mazefate
Song Title: The Chaos
Vocals: Take too long to come in from a radio standpoint. Female vocals are eerie, they fit the song well.
Lyrics: “The Chaos” part is funny, kind of corny. Lyrics fit the idea of the song. Theme is easy for listener to follow.
Musical Arrangement & Instrumentation: Simple, boring in parts, too long. Strings, keys, and drums all work together, this is a plus. Keyboards are strongest instrument in this song.
Recording Quality: Could be mastered, but mix and recording are listenable.
Additional Comments: Fun rock song overall!

Song Title: Anything But Gone
Vocals: Singing fits, not overdone. Back up vocals sound real good.
Lyrics: Meaningful. This song is about the death of a loved friend. Powerful lyrics.
Musical Arrangement & Instrumentation: No keyboards, but it’s not needed. quality guitar, real listener friendly. This song has a real specific mood and it’s obvious you aren’t faking the loss of your friend. Sincere! Could be a little tighter, but not bad.
Recording Quality: Okay, not as good as major label, but better than most of the other demo submissions.
Additional Comments: This song is way stronger than The Chaos.

Song Title: Destiny Rage/Get You Down/Lies/Tears
Vocals: Great backups on Get you down. All vocals work on the songs they are on. Lies has a great sounding chorus. Vocals sound come in earlier on Tears.
Lyrics: Destiny has great lyrics. Get You Down is real uplifting. All lyrics fit the songs they are in. Listener can follow singer’s story lines and not get lost!
Music: Keyboards fit real well on Lies. Guitar changes are good for most part, Tears the most. Heavy guitar sounds nice on destiny. None of your songs are too long; this is good from a radio standpoint. We like how you incorporate funny, serious, heavy, keyboard, different elements in each song.
Recording Quality: Above average, way better than most local bands.
Additional Comments: We still like Anything But Gone the best!!! Get You Down 2nd.
